The dictionary defines the word “compel” as follows:
verb (used with object), compelled, compelling.
to force or drive, especially to a course of action
In 2 Corinthians 5:14-15, it says:
For Christ’s love compels us, since we have reached this conclusion: If One died for all, then all died. 15 And He died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for the One who died for them and was raised. (HCSB)
He died for us, so we should no longer live for ourselves. Christ’s love compels us to COMMUNICATE, to SERVE, to PRAY, and to GIVE!
The love that Jesus has poured into our hearts is the greatest motivation for us to pour out love to others. Join us for this exciting series where we will learn as a church what it means to respond to COMPELLING LOVE!
