What is KidPoint?

KidPoint is a children’s ministry uniquely designed with your child in mind. We are passionate about every child loving Jesus, loving others, and having fun! Kids, birth through fifth grade, experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way.

What Should my Kids Expect at KidPoint?

We desire Sunday morning to be the greatest hour of a child’s week. That is why we have designed a morning where our children dance, sing, pray, memorize scripture, hear God’s word taught on an age-appropriate level, play games, and then break into a Kids Discipleship Group (KDG). KDGs are designed to give every child from the age of 2 to 10 one-on-one time with consistent leaders who will pray over them, encourage them in their relationship with Christ, and be a friend to them.

Who Attends KidPoint?

ALL children (babies through 5th grade) attend KidPoint each Sunday! We are so passionate about kids learning about Jesus in a way they can understand, that we do not allow them into our service designed for adults and students 6th grade and older.

What is Available if My Child Doesn’t Participate in KidPoint?

While we understand that as a parent you may feel apprehensive about leaving your child in a new place, we can assure you that we have done everything to create a fun, safe place for kids. Each of our volunteers go through a background check and training in order to maintain the highest standards of care. Nevertheless, if your child does not participate in KidPoint, a family viewing area is available for you and your child to engage in the main worship experience. This area is located in the entry area and will open at 10:50.

First Time at KidPoint?

Look for the area designated for KidPoint. We will meet your family and have you fill out a short registration form for your family. Our KidPoint Check-in station opens 15 minutes prior to the start of each service. Once your family is checked in, one of our volunteers will be happy to show you the age-appropriate environment that we have created for your child.

Your information will be processed into our computer database and a name tag will be printed for your child and you. Your entire family will have a matching number on your stickers that will remain the same as long as you’re a part of KidPoint. Thanks for checking out KidPoint!

A Special Note

If for some reason your child were to need you during the service, your child’s identification code would appear on the screen in the auditorium. We would ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member who will direct you to your child’s room.
